Some exciting news to share.Dr Amanda Berlan, an anthropologist at the&nbsp;University of Leicester,&nbsp;has won a grant to assess Friendship Lab’s forthcoming Friendship Lab Course. Several years in the making, we’ll be running two pilots of this evidence-based course – one in a live online format, another in conjunction with&nbsp;Humans of Cowley&nbsp;at&nbsp;Templars Square Shopping Centre&nbsp;in Oxford. Dr Berlan will assess how well the course helps participants to form and deepen their friendships, as well as boost other wellbeing outcomes like confidence and self-esteem.<img src="https://www.friendshiplab.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Uni-of-Leicester-Friendship-Lab-study.png" alt="" style="width: 705px; height: auto; cursor: pointer;" srcset="https://www.friendshiplab.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Uni-of-Leicester-Friendship-Lab-study.png 940w, https://www.friendshiplab.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Uni-of-Leicester-Friendship-Lab-study-300x251.png 300w, https://www.friendshiplab.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Uni-of-Leicester-Friendship-Lab-study-768x644.png 768w, https://www.friendshiplab.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Uni-of-Leicester-Friendship-Lab-study-600x503.png 600w, https://www.friendshiplab.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Uni-of-Leicester-Friendship-Lab-study-107x90.png 107w, https://www.friendshiplab.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Uni-of-Leicester-Friendship-Lab-study-60x50.png 60w" sizes="(max-width: 705px) 100vw, 705px" width="705" height="591" decoding="async" class="wp-image-1286" draggable="true">We are truly excited about this partnership and the insights it will reveal.
